Mid-level managers at Taco Bell can now get an MBA in restaurant management/hospitality while working full-time.
In a bid to revamp their learning & development culture, the US-based fast-food chain has established their business school! Named Taco Bell Business School, this newly minted B School will offer courses in restaurant management in collaboration with the University of Louisville to mid-level managers.
The school will start with a six-month-long boot camp course which will teach the participants the basics of entrepreneurship and human resource management. According to Taco Bell CEO Mark King, with this initiative, the enterprise wants to empower employees and fast track their way to become franchise owners one day. This also might reduce the attrition rate and create more loyal employees.
